Overview

This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and is responsible for handling the materials for distribution in a timely manner.

To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Load trucks and unload trucks. Put away receiving. Replenish stock. Use all types of motorized vehicles. Deliver raw material to production area. Pull orders and make ready for shipment. Continually organize warehouse. Perform daily clean up duties per department guidelines. Perform any other duties, as assigned.

Required Skills

High school graduate or equivalent. Warehousing, Shipping and/or Receiving experience and forklift experience required. The individual must be well organized and detail oriented. The individual must also maintain a satisfactory attendance record as well as qualitative and quantitative performance standards.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Position may require heavy lifting, of 60 pounds or more. Use of full peripheral vision to operate warehouse equipment. Occasional stair climbing and hand unloading required. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high in volume.
